Samba TV is a media intelligence company that provides real-time consumer attention data across screens to major global brands. This Marketing Operations Manager role owns the systems, data, and processes powering Samba's marketing engine, serving as the critical bridge between marketing, sales, revenue operations, and finance.
You will manage the complete marketing technology stack, with HubSpot as the system of record. Responsibilities include platform administration (properties, workflows, lists, forms, deliverability, permissions, governance), integrations with Salesforce and other tools (website, webinar, event, paid media, data enrichment platforms), vendor evaluation and contract negotiation, and maintaining a documented stack roadmap including AI and automation tools.
On the data and analytics side, you'll build and maintain lead scoring and routing logic to ensure high-intent leads reach salespeople quickly with clear SLAs. You'll establish multi-touch attribution models showing which channels (events, content, paid ads, partners) source, influence, and close deals. Database hygiene is critical: you'll clean duplicates, set data standards, ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance, and manage opt-in/opt-out lists. You'll also support account-based marketing with target account lists and engagement scoring.
Campaign and process optimization includes standardizing funnel stages (Lead → MQL → SQL → Opportunity → Closed-Won) with clear definitions and handoff rules. You'll own campaign setup standards (UTM conventions, naming taxonomy, HubSpot campaign objects, Salesforce hierarchy), set up A/B testing frameworks with clean tracking and agreed metrics, and document playbooks so the team scales efficiently. You'll build processes for global operations across Americas, EMEA, and APAC, including localized forms and regional consent requirements.
Alignment and reporting are central: you'll partner with RevOps and Sales Ops to ensure data flows from marketing click to closed-won contract. You'll build dashboards for marketing, sales leadership, and executives covering MQL volume, conversion rates, speed to lead, marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline, and closed-won revenue. You'll track channel performance (paid media, email, website, social, events, content) from spend and engagement to leads and pipeline. You'll partner with finance on CAC, cost per MQL, cost per opportunity, and ROI by channel and campaign. You'll support annual and quarterly planning with funnel math tied to pipeline targets, run weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews, and train teams on HubSpot and reporting.
