Aviso, a leading Canadian wealth management organization, is seeking a Manager, Total Rewards to join the People & Culture team. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, this role is responsible for designing and administering compensation, recognition, benefit, and retirement savings programs across the organization.
Key responsibilities include leading Aviso's annual compensation planning process, including salary adjustments and incentive awards in partnership with Finance. You will execute cyclical and ad-hoc incentive and executive compensation processes, managing stakeholder communications, vendor relationships, data validation, reward calculations, and employee statement distribution.
The role oversees the annual compensation survey process and market reviews, translating competitive insights into actionable recommendations to maintain Aviso's pay competitiveness. You will chair the Job Evaluation Committee, ensuring protocols are followed, training new members, and maintaining HRIS records of job changes and structural updates.
You will partner with external vendors to oversee governance and delivery of benefit, disability, medical accommodation, and retirement savings programs, creating documentation and resources to support organizational awareness. A key focus is developing and leading Aviso's enterprise recognition strategy and program, including framework development, budget management, metrics definition, and stakeholder training.
Additionally, you will monitor legislative and competitive environments across Canada to ensure compliance, identify trends, and oversee all Pay Transparency and Pay Equity reviews, filings, data collection, analysis, and stakeholder communication. You will serve as a strategic partner on total rewards matters to leaders across the organization.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline (or equivalent experience), 7+ years of progressive total rewards experience with at least 2 years in a management role, and demonstrated proficiency in HRIS systems and compensation analysis tools. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is an asset. Experience with Workday, compensation planning tools, job structure implementation, and comprehensive knowledge of job evaluation, salary structures, incentive design, and pay equity are highly valued.
