Form Energy is hiring a Manager, Supplier Industrialization Engineering to lead the technical and quality strategy for the electromechanical and power conversion supply base. You will manage a team of Supplier Industrialization Engineers and own the industrialization roadmap across PCBAs, custom wire harnesses, electrical panels, and integrated skid-level assemblies such as fire suppression cabinets. Key responsibilities include setting technical and quality standards across the supplier portfolio, building and coaching an engineering team, driving cross-functional resolution of supplier and quality issues with Design, Reliability, and Test teams, and establishing PPAP/APQP/SCAR/CAPA frameworks. You will manage supplier capacity planning and performance reviews, ensuring contract manufacturer resources align with production ramps and yield targets. This is a player-coach role requiring 20–30% travel to audit supplier sites and validate process readiness. You bring 10+ years of experience in new product development and manufacturing of electromechanical and electronic assemblies, including PCBAs, wire harnesses, electrical panels, and box builds. You have 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams with demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and develop talent. A BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is required. Deep expertise in PPAP/APQP implementation and supplier quality systems across multiple commodity types is essential, along with a proven track record resolving high-impact technical and quality issues at contract manufacturer sites and driving CAPA to closure. Excellent cross-functional communication and the ability to influence without formal authority at all organizational levels are critical. Form Energy manufactures long-duration iron-air battery systems for grid-scale energy storage. Production is underway at a high-volume manufacturing facility in West Virginia, and the company has signed contracts with leading US electric utilities. Relocation assistance is available.
