The Manager, Strategy & Execution will partner closely with the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy to drive planning, implementation, and optimization of Thorne's enterprise strategy and key strategic initiatives. This role serves as a connective force between functional teams and executive leadership, ensuring strategic initiatives and annual business objectives translate into measurable results.
Key responsibilities include:
**Drive Cross-Functional Strategy Execution:** Turn assigned strategic priorities into concrete execution plans in partnership with initiative owners and department leaders. Structure critical decisions, identify and manage cross-functional dependencies, and pressure-test assumptions. Establish clear governance cadences and maintain visibility into owners, dependencies, decisions, risks, and milestones.
**Run the Strategy Execution Operating Rhythm:** Maintain a robust governance cadence to review and track progress across the enterprise initiative portfolio. Facilitate executive-level reviews to assess initiative health, unlock resources, and support decision-making. Surface risks, tradeoffs, and escalations early.
**Build Tracking Infrastructure and KPIs:** Partner with the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy, FP&A, and functional leads to define enterprise goals, objectives, key results, and success metrics. Set clear thresholds and milestones. Build and maintain infrastructure for performance tracking including charters, trackers, dashboards, and templates. Track results against plan and contribute to post-mortems.
**Enable Strategic Planning Cycles:** Support annual planning by developing frameworks, timelines, and facilitation materials. Coordinate with functional leaders to synthesize inputs and translate strategy into cohesive, actionable plans. Partner with FP&A to translate strategy into annual operating plans and resource requirements.
**Enhance Executive Communication:** Develop high-impact communication materials including executive updates, initiative scorecards, and progress briefings. Ensure consistent messaging around priorities and performance expectations.
The ideal candidate brings 4–6 years of experience in top-tier management consulting and/or in-house strategy, operations, or general management roles in consumer products, health & wellness, or related industries. A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Experience leading commercial launches, channel expansion, or go-to-market programs is valued, as is comfort working across sales, marketing, supply chain, R&D, and quality. The role requires sharp analytical instincts, the ability to assess business challenges quickly, and the capacity to turn insights into recommendations that drive complex, cross-functional projects to measurable outcomes.
