Oscar Health is seeking a Manager, Strategic Planning to join its team in Tempe, Arizona. Oscar is a technology-forward health insurance company founded in 2012, built on a full-stack technology platform with a focus on member-centric service.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, and on-time delivery. You will evaluate departmental performance by creating and analyzing data, developing metrics, and implementing mitigation strategies. Working collaboratively across partner groups, you will develop proactive implementation, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation.
The position reports to the Associate Director, Strategic Planning and may involve direct oversight of team members, mentoring colleagues, and promoting their professional growth. You will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Required qualifications include 4+ years of program management experience and 3+ years of project delivery experience. Preferred qualifications include experience using data to improve programs, work in fast-paced operations environments, enterprise-wide program management, vendor integration and technology partnership management, a Master's Degree, PMP or Program Management certifications, Lean/Six Sigma certifications, and healthcare industry experience (health insurance, health systems, or healthcare consulting).
This is a hybrid role based in the Tempe, AZ office, requiring 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are mandatory for team meetings and events; the other two office days are flexible. The base pay range is $105,818–$138,886 annually, with eligibility for employee benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses.
