Salary: USD 78,800 - 114,200 / annual
Moody's is seeking an experienced Manager of Strategic Events & Outreach to lead high-impact advisory board programs and tier-1 events that drive executive engagement and measurable brand impact. This role owns end-to-end strategy, production, and on-site delivery of executive experiences designed to foster dialogue, generate insights, and strengthen customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading comprehensive Advisory Board strategy and execution while supporting flagship events
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to define program objectives, shape agendas, and guide meaningful executive discussions
- Designing and delivering executive experiences that strengthen customer relationships and drive business outcomes
- Managing event timelines, vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination to ensure flawless execution
- Defining and tracking success metrics including engagement quality, audience mix, lead capture, and business impact
- Delivering post-event reporting and actionable insights to inform future strategy
- Managing budgets across all programs, including forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation
The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of progressive experience in event management, experiential marketing, brand activations, or creative agency environments. You'll demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills, with proven ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders and executive audiences. Experience managing budgets, contracts, vendors, and venues at scale is essential. Proficiency with event technology, registration/CRM tools, and collaboration platforms is required. Additionally, you should demonstrate hands-on experience with AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency, with awareness of AI risk management and commitment to responsible AI use.
