Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform serving over 250,000 businesses globally, including Brex, Navan, Qantas, and SHEIN. The company operates across 27 offices worldwide with 2,300+ employees and is valued at $11 billion, backed by leading investors including Sequoia, Visa, and Mastercard. As Manager of Spain Marketing, you will build and execute Airwallex's marketing presence in Spain, translating EMEA and global priorities into locally relevant activities that drive brand awareness, generate demand, and support commercial growth across SME and Enterprise segments. Key responsibilities include developing and managing the Spain marketing plan across always-on and campaign-based initiatives aligned to business priorities and target segments. You will own end-to-end planning and execution of owned, partner-led, and sponsored events, building clear connections between event participation, sales engagement, and pipeline generation. You'll develop relationships with Spanish founders, finance, technology, e-commerce, and travel communities to strengthen the ecosystem. You will create and activate co-marketing initiatives with strategic and channel partners, associations, media, and ecosystem players. The role requires adapting EMEA and global campaigns, messaging, case studies, and assets for Spanish audiences with strong local-market judgment. You'll work closely with Spain commercial leadership, account executives, and SDRs to identify opportunities, support launches, and improve account and pipeline engagement. Additionally, you will partner with EMEA paid media, SEO, ABM, campaign, and lifecycle teams to launch localized digital and always-on programs. You'll maintain clear reporting on activity, funnel contribution, and marketing influence while managing budgets, vendors, timelines, and post-campaign learnings. Minimum qualifications include B2B marketing experience in a local-market, country, field, partner, or integrated marketing role. You must demonstrate strong ability to translate commercial objectives into focused marketing plans and execute end-to-end. Proven experience delivering events, partnerships, community programs, or relationship-led growth initiatives is essential. You should be commercially oriented, comfortable working with sales teams, and able to prioritize activities based on expected business impact. Strong stakeholder management skills in matrix organizations are required, with confidence to coordinate EMEA, global, and local teams. Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish (native) and English is mandatory, with ability to localize messaging with cultural and market nuance. Data literacy—defining KPIs, reading funnel performance, evaluating ROI, and using insights to improve activity—is critical. High ownership, pace, organization, and judgment to prioritize in evolving markets with imperfect information are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in fintech, payments, financial services, SaaS, e-commerce infrastructure, or complex B2B technology categories. Existing relationships across the Spanish startup, scale-up, technology, finance, e-commerce, or travel ecosystem are valuable. Experience marketing to both SME and Enterprise audiences, including account-based or vertical-led programs, is a plus.
