UiPath is seeking a Global Income Tax Manager to lead the company's U.S. federal, state, and international corporate income tax operations. This hands-on role combines technical tax expertise with strategic leadership for a multinational public software company.
Key responsibilities include managing global corporate income tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, overseeing U.S. federal, state, local, and foreign income tax filings in coordination with external advisors, and providing technical expertise on complex cross-border tax matters including NCTI/GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, BEAT, and Pillar Two regulations.
You will research complex tax issues, develop and execute international tax planning initiatives aligned with business objectives, advise on tax implications of legal entity restructurings, intercompany transactions, financing arrangements, and IP matters, and support M&A activities, due diligence, transaction structuring, and post-acquisition integrations.
Additional responsibilities include managing U.S. and international tax audits and examinations, partnering with external advisors to resolve tax controversies, collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, HR, and business leaders on strategic initiatives, and leading process improvements through AI, automation, and analytics consistent with UiPath's mission.
You will mentor junior tax team members, manage external service provider relationships, own SOX-compliant tax processes and internal controls, and partner with Internal Audit and External Audit on quarterly and annual SOX testing and audit readiness.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field; 8+ years of progressive corporate income tax experience in public accounting or multinational corporations; strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international corporate income tax; experience managing multinational tax compliance, international tax planning, cross-border transactions, tax controversy, and corporate restructurings; experience supporting M&A and strategic transactions; demonstrated ability to manage external advisors and cross-functional collaboration; excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred: CPA, MST, JD, or relevant advanced credential; experience with publicly traded multinational technology, software, or SaaS companies; experience with geographically dispersed global tax teams; experience leveraging AI, automation, data analytics, or digital technologies to improve tax processes; familiarity with RPA or agentic automation technologies.
