Salary: EUR 115,200 - 133,000 / annual
Huntress, founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, is a remote-first cybersecurity company making enterprise-grade security accessible to businesses of all sizes. The company operates a 24/7 global Security Operations Center (SOC) staffed by human-led security analysts investigating and responding to incidents across millions of endpoints worldwide.
This Manager role leads the EMEA region of the SOC, reporting to the Director of Security Operations Center. You will be responsible for designing and streamlining processes, workflows, and playbooks that enable effective operations while scaling analyst productivity by 10X. Key responsibilities include:
- Define and enforce internal processes to reduce analyst burnout and increase productivity against global standards
- Manage shift coverage to maintain 24/7 operations across 365 days
- Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with analysts to provide feedback, gather input, and enable career progression
- Develop and implement analyst training programs in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Automation
- Collaborate with Product teams to prioritize capabilities that augment analyst effectiveness
- Maintain quality assurance accountability for the EMEA region
- Engage with Support to streamline workflows for customer requests requiring SOC analysis
- Strengthen relationships with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to SOC analysts
- Develop, track, and report on OKRs linked to SOC initiatives
- Participate in public speaking engagements and help operationalize new technologies
You bring 5+ years of Security Analyst experience in global 24x7 SOCs with Windows forensics focus, plus 2+ years of team lead or managerial experience in global operations centers or incident response roles (preferably at an MSSP, MDR provider, or IR service). You have experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams across multiple disciplines, are actively engaged in the security community, stay current on threat actor tradecraft and detection techniques, and can communicate complex technical concepts to varied stakeholders.
