Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Manager of RF Manufacturing Test Engineering to lead the manufacturing test engineering team for electromagnetic warfare (EW) hardware. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical leadership to ensure rigorous testing protocols, superior product quality, and high manufacturing throughput across Anduril's defense hardware portfolio. You will direct the manufacturing test engineering team, setting objectives, guiding initiatives, and assessing outcomes. Key responsibilities include overseeing and improving manufacturing test strategy for each product to ensure scalable operations from pre-production (LRIP) through full-scale output (FRP). You'll collaborate with product SEIT and development engineering teams on design testability and seamless production integration. You will strategize and implement advancements in manufacturing testing, focusing on automation, uniformity, and operational streamlining. You'll maintain test capabilities across multiple products—from system-level checkouts and acceptance testing to component-level in-process validation. You'll evaluate test data, identify opportunities for product and process enhancements, and communicate strategic visions to key stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include leading procurement and implementation of new test equipment with cost-benefit and ROI analyses, championing initiatives that enhance safety and reduce costs, and cultivating a culture of innovation and accountability. You'll serve as the technical authority for manufacturing test matters and design proactive maintenance and calibration protocols for test equipment. REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - Minimum 2+ years as a people manager leading manufacturing test engineering or adjacent fields - Experience with Linux, C#, Python, NixOS, LabView, or other test automation tools - Experience with computer hardware communication protocols: USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc. - Solid experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing and knowledge of testing standards (acceptance testing, EOL testing, ESS testing) - Proficiency in electronic and RF test equipment - Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of non-conforming electro-mechanical hardware - Familiarity with Test Execution Systems (TES), Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems - Experience managing projects integrating electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Demonstrated ability to lead development of manufacturing test systems and teams - Proficiency in LabVIEW, MATLAB, and test automation - Knowledge of PCBA design and mechanical design - Experience designing HASS & ESS-related tests (thermal, vibration, etc.) - Familiarity with AI tools
