Snowflake seeks a Manager, Real Estate to lead financial, contractual, and operational stewardship of its global real estate portfolio. This role oversees a $100M+ annual lease spend with focus on Total Cost of Ownership and ROI analysis. The ideal candidate will pioneer an AI-first approach to real estate management, leveraging Snowflake's own AI and compute capabilities to streamline lease administration, automate manual processes, and generate portfolio insights.
Key responsibilities include: directing lease spend with rigorous financial oversight; building an AI-led real estate strategy using Snowflake Cortex to develop in-house features; collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, and Workplace Operations teams; serving as primary liaison with landlords, brokers, and legal counsel; ensuring operational financial integrity through accurate disbursement processing and data hygiene; monitoring and resolving payment discrepancies; leading strategic contractual governance including LOI and lease agreement review; maintaining insurance coverage; and managing global transactional complexity across multiple international markets, regulatory frameworks, and tax regimes.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of progressive commercial real estate development or construction experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing a global, multi-regional, or highly complex portfolio. Required expertise includes financial modeling, commercial real estate and lease administration, lease abstraction, payment oversight, auditing, financial reconciliation, strategic and critical thinking, ASC 842 lease accounting standards, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. Bonus qualifications include hands-on AI and automation experience on modern data platforms like Snowflake Cortex, multi-region real estate transaction execution, familiarity with lease administration and payment automation systems, and experience leading data cleanup or ledger remediation at scale.
