Hims & Hers, a leading health and wellness platform and NYSE-traded public company, is seeking a Manager of Production Scheduling to lead the scheduling team responsible for non-sterile compounded production at their Mesa, Arizona facility.
In this role, you will lead and develop a team of production schedulers, owning the end-to-end non-sterile compounding schedule. You will translate mid- and long-term production plans and demand forecasts into detailed weekly and daily executable schedules that optimize labor, materials, and manufacturing capacity while supporting forecasted demand, customer delivery targets, and inventory objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, managing, and developing the production scheduler team with coaching, priority-setting, and performance review
- Generating detailed schedules to ensure timely finished goods availability while minimizing waste and downtime
- Cross-functional collaboration with production planners and demand planning teams to align schedules with the plan of record
- Partnering with Compounding Operations to evaluate capacity constraints, workforce availability, overtime, shift planning, and staffing optimization
- Translating demand into actionable resource plans for labor, machine time, and equipment utilization
- Developing capacity models and what-if scenarios to support strategic staffing and contingency decisions
- Monitoring production performance against plan, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions
- Implementing tools, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor real-time resource allocation and communicate schedule status to leadership
- Driving continuous improvement to reduce cycle times, improve schedule adherence, and scale processes as the business grows
The ideal candidate is a proactive people leader with strong understanding of integrated planning systems, supply chain dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, or resource planning, with demonstrated experience leading or developing others
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (APICS/CPIM certification a plus)
- Proficient in inventory management concepts with understanding of financial and operational implications of planning decisions
- Experience in pharmaceutical or pharmacy production/manufacturing environments (a plus)
- Excel proficiency including data manipulation (Lookups, PivotTables, External Data Connections)
- Basic SQL and/or Python experience (a plus)
- Deep knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing planning and scheduling processes
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
