Salary: USD 164,500 - 246,200 / annual
Rocket Companies (via Redfin) seeks a Manager of Product for Rentals to own strategy and execution across Redfin, Rent.com, and ApartmentGuide.com. You will lead a team of four product managers responsible for the entire rentals experience—from search and discovery through re-engagement and property contact. Your mandate spans both renter-facing features (helping millions find their next home) and landlord-facing tools (enabling homeowners to list and fill vacancies).
Key responsibilities include: setting multi-quarter product strategy for rentals across web and mobile; owning the complete roadmap from search to re-engagement; leading, coaching, and growing a high-performing PM team; building the renter-to-buyer journey to position Redfin as the natural next step when renters are ready to purchase; improving self-service listing experiences for non-professional landlords; and owning growth and engagement metrics while driving data-driven experimentation.
You will report to the Senior Director of Product, Rentals and AI, and serve as a bridge between product, engineering, design, and executive stakeholders. The role requires strong communication skills to translate complex problem spaces into clear, actionable plans that teams can rally around.
Required qualifications: 8+ years of product management experience shipping consumer web and mobile products at scale; 3+ years managing and developing product managers with a track record of building strong teams; strategic thinking ability to balance multi-quarter vision with tactical problem-solving; data-driven decision-making through rigorous A/B testing and analysis; deep customer empathy demonstrated through direct user research and support ticket review; and fast learning in ambiguous environments. Real estate, proptech, or rentals experience is a plus. AI-native fluency (daily use of AI tools for specs, prototyping, and analysis) is preferred.
