Nimble is building a new kind of outbound function that combines traditional sales development with AI-powered research, automation, and go-to-market execution. We're seeking a hands-on Outbound Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team while helping build and improve the outbound motion.
This is a player/coach role. You'll manage a team of Outbound AI Engineers while carrying a reduced individual quota as the team grows. Over time, you'll transition into a full management role focused on coaching, team performance, pipeline, and revenue generation.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team of Outbound AI Engineers
- Coaching team members on outbound execution and prospecting
- Building and improving processes for outbound performance
- Ensuring AI-powered tools, agents, workflows, research tools, and GTM assets improve outbound performance
- Generating pipeline and ARR alongside your team
- Transitioning from individual contributor to full management as the team scales
You don't need to be an AI engineer—your team will build the technical components. Your responsibility is ensuring those tools drive measurable improvements in outbound performance and pipeline generation.
Requirements:
- Strong BDR/SDR experience
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales teams
- Experience improving outbound execution and building sales processes
- Comfort with hands-on prospecting and pipeline generation
- Ability to work in a player/coach capacity during team growth phase
