Checkout.com is a global payments platform processing over 10 billion transactions yearly for leading brands including eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. The company operates 20 offices across six continents with headquarters in London.
You will join the CEO Office as a Manager of Strategy & Operations, embedded within a designated Product team or pillar. This is a hands-on execution and operating leadership role focused on driving business delivery and strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading major cross-functional strategic projects from conception through launch, creating alignment across Product, Engineering, and other functions
- Identifying and resolving blockers, managing dependencies, and clarifying ownership to ensure effective execution
- Developing scalable operating mechanisms, standards, and processes for planning, testing, launch readiness, governance, and cross-functional decision-making
- Using data and first-principles thinking to identify root causes and design practical solutions
- Taking ownership of specific processes or metrics with clear opportunities to improve speed, quality, or scalability
- Building trust with your Product team and turning ambiguous priorities into clear, measurable plans
You will have high visibility with the CEO and executive team, with opportunities to grow into broader responsibilities across Product, Technology, and the wider organization.
Ideal candidates bring multiple years of experience in influential, cross-functional roles in fast-paced, high-performance environments. Background in strategy consulting, investment banking, product, technology, operations, professional services, or high-growth companies is valued. Core competencies include structured problem-solving, cross-functional delivery, data-driven decision-making, building and automation capabilities, ownership mentality, and strong influence and communication skills. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, leading projects end-to-end, and creating lasting value for teams and the business.
