Hims & Hers, a leading telehealth and wellness platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Manager of International Accounting to oversee US GAAP accounting for a recent international acquisition. This role is integrated with the subsidiary accounting team based in Australia and reports to the VP, International Controller.
Key responsibilities include managing daily, weekly, and monthly US GAAP accounting tasks for the foreign acquisition; owning the month-end close process including reconciliations, journal entries, and NetSuite consolidation; reviewing team work products with attention to detail; verifying intercompany transactions and eliminations; assisting the Australian accounting team with statutory financial statements and external auditor liaison; maintaining accounting documentation and internal controls; owning assigned SOX Act key controls; providing guidance and mentorship to team members; participating in due diligence and integration for new market launches; leading process improvements and system enhancements; developing cross-functional relationships; and serving as a key point of contact for accounting matters.
Required qualifications: 7+ years of accounting experience (Big-4 preferred); strong US GAAP expertise; BA/BS in Accounting; CPA or active progress toward certification (strongly preferred); proven experience managing international entities and multiple currencies; advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (NetSuite a plus); excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; strong critical thinking and attention to detail; ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; prior public company and SOX compliance experience preferred; collaborative team player effective in remote and in-person settings.
