Salary: USD 128,000 - 140,000 / annual

OpenGov is seeking a Manager II, Professional Services to lead and manage a team responsible for successful project deployments in the public sector software space. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services or Senior Professional Services Manager, you will oversee a diverse team including Project Managers and Implementation Consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: - Leading and managing a team with focus on recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and performance management - Translating strategic plans into operational processes impacting team and cross-functional outcomes - Managing a portfolio of implementation projects, including complex technical deployments across multiple product domains - Proactively identifying and mitigating project and customer risks, including on-site customer visits - Conducting portfolio forecasting, analyzing efficiency trends, and monitoring budget health - Collaborating with leadership to ensure team skills align with evolving business needs and improving project management methodologies - Supporting complex customer implementations involving multiple product suites and assisting with testing plans - Resolving significant project challenges using extensive business knowledge and innovative solutions - Maintaining control during escalations, supporting sales processes, and participating in SOW and Change Order creation - Cross-functional collaboration with sales, customer success, product, and engineering teams - Providing leadership and guidance to customers on best practices and business process improvements - Developing implementation approaches, documentation, and best-practice training materials OpenGov is the leader in AI and ERP solutions for local and state governments, serving over 2,000 cities, counties, state agencies, school districts, and special districts. The company offers category-leading products including enterprise asset management, procurement and contract management, accounting and budgeting, billing and revenue management, permitting and licensing, and transparency solutions. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience demonstrating ability to perform outlined tasks - Minimum 3 years of experience in project delivery, preferably in a SaaS environment - Proven ability to foster team culture, accountability, and professional growth - Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and with clients at all levels - Strong leadership capabilities with focus on strategic thinking, problem-solving, and achieving results - Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives with varying complexity and interdependencies - Demonstrated ability to balance profitability with customer-service mindset and maintain high standards of excellence - Ability to understand and articulate product requirements, process logic, and architecture; build and deliver functional presentations - Capacity to adapt to evolving product offerings and address customer needs strategically - Experience with government budgeting concepts, finance/budgeting solutions, procurement, permitting, licensing, asset management, or related fields is a plus
