The Manager, Identity & Access Management (IAM) reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer and leads the strategy, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise IAM program. This role oversees identity governance, privileged access management, authentication services, access lifecycle management, and modern identity architectures supporting workforce, customers, partners, cloud platforms, and business applications.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing enterprise IAM strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory obligations; developing and maturing IAM capabilities for workforce, customer, vendor, partner, and privileged identities; leading Zero Trust adoption through strong authentication, least privilege access, and continuous verification; designing and implementing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and passwordless authentication solutions; establishing enterprise processes for user provisioning, deprovisioning, access certification, and role management; ensuring IAM controls across cloud, SaaS, on-premises, and hybrid environments; overseeing access review campaigns and remediation activities; partnering with Compliance, Risk, Legal, HR, and Internal Audit teams to support regulatory frameworks including SOC 1, SOC 2, FFIEC, PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR, and GLBA; leading privileged access management practices for administrators, service accounts, and critical systems; and leading and developing a team of IAM engineers, analysts, and administrators.
The ideal candidate is a strong technical and people leader with deep expertise in IAM technologies, Zero Trust principles, identity governance, privileged access management, cloud identity platforms, regulatory compliance, and security operations. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; 8+ years of information security, IAM, directory services, or identity governance experience; 3+ years of leadership experience managing IAM teams or enterprise security initiatives; and demonstrated experience implementing and operating IAM platforms including AWS IAM, GCP IAM, Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, Ping, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust.
