Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute backbone for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. As Manager of Fixed Assets, you'll lead the fixed asset accounting function and manage a small team within the Finance organization.
You'll own the full lifecycle of capital asset accounting: reviewing purchase requisitions to determine proper CAPEX vs. OPEX treatment, analyzing complex capitalization entries, and reconciling property, plant & equipment (PP&E) across Crusoe's consolidated and unconsolidated legal entities. You'll be the central partner for CAPEX decisions, collaborating with Project Managers, Cost Control, Tax, Procurement, and Operations to identify when in-service assets should be capitalized. Monthly responsibilities include preparing and reconciling PP&E roll-forwards, supporting month-end reporting and fluctuation analysis, and responding to audit and due diligence requests.
Beyond accounting mechanics, you'll develop your team through goal-setting, performance management, and professional growth initiatives. You'll drive process improvements that make the broader finance organization and business partners more effective, bringing structure and clarity to a rapidly scaling company. The role suits someone who leads with curiosity, spots inefficiencies early, and thrives in fast-moving environments where you can make a tangible impact on how the company scales.
You bring 5–8 years of fixed asset and general ledger accounting experience, plus 3–6 years managing and developing teams. A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA is preferred. You have strong GAAP knowledge, familiarity with internal controls and SOX compliance, and exposure to consolidations, joint ventures, and month-end close processes. ERP systems, reconciliation tools, and advanced Excel proficiency are valuable. You balance speed with accuracy, take ownership in ambiguous situations, and genuinely enjoy helping team members succeed.
