Mobia Medical is a commercial-stage medtech company delivering FDA-approved stroke recovery solutions. The Vivistim® Paired VNS™ Therapy is an implantable device combining vagus nerve stimulation with functional movement to improve motor recovery in chronic ischemic stroke survivors.
The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will support the company's growth as a public medical technology company. This role owns financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and business performance analysis, providing leadership with insights and recommendations for informed operational and strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
**Financial Planning & Forecasting:** Manage the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning cycles. Develop and maintain revenue, expense, cash flow, and headcount forecasts across the organization. Coordinate monthly forecast updates, analyze variances, and identify financial risks and opportunities. Partner with department leaders to align budgets and forecasts with strategic priorities and financial targets.
**Business Partnership:** Serve as a finance business partner to Commercial, Operations, R&D, Clinical, Marketing, G&A, and Corporate functions. Provide financial analysis and guidance supporting resource allocation, investment decisions, pricing initiatives, and strategic projects. Support new product launches, commercial initiatives, and business expansion through financial modeling. Build strong cross-functional relationships and help business partners understand financial implications of operational decisions.
**Executive & Board Reporting:** Prepare financial analyses, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership and board meetings. Communicate complex financial information clearly and actionably.
This role is ideal for someone combining strong financial and analytical capabilities with business acumen and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights. You'll work closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional business leaders.
