Berkshire Grey is seeking a hands-on Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the CFO, you will work closely with functional leaders across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Service to develop budgets and forecasts, evaluate business performance, identify financial risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Key responsibilities include leading annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for assigned business areas; developing and maintaining detailed financial models covering revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, headcount, cash flow, and scenario planning; preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with variance analyses; monitoring headcount, labor costs, capital expenditures, and program spending; supporting project, product, customer, and contract-level profitability analyses; evaluating financial impacts of new business opportunities, pricing decisions, and investments; developing and tracking KPIs; participating in monthly and quarterly close activities; and preparing financial analyses and presentations for executive leadership.
You will combine strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least seven years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting experience, advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and a strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and management reporting. Experience in robotics, automation, technology, manufacturing, engineering, or capital equipment industries is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
