Dandy is transforming the dental industry by building an operating system for dental practices globally. As Manager of Finance Systems, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of core finance systems—initially NetSuite, expanding to Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report processes. Reporting to the VP of Business Systems & IT, you'll be both hands-on with system configuration and people-focused, managing technical resources to deliver complex solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key responsibilities include building and shaping the Finance Systems function by defining team structure, roles, and growth paths; creating scalable solutions through process optimization and tool standardization; implementing best practices for system configuration, data integrity, security, and deployment; managing technical resources for NetSuite SuiteScript development and API integrations; and fostering a data-driven culture within Finance through reporting and analysis capabilities.
You bring 2+ years of experience managing or leading finance systems projects in growth environments, plus 5+ years of hands-on experience with core finance systems (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Order Management, Procurement). You have significant NetSuite configuration and administration expertise, ideally with SuiteScript and integration knowledge. You understand system integrations and data flows, can translate functional requirements into technical specs, and have experience implementing or scaling finance systems. You balance strategic vision with tactical execution, communicate effectively across cross-functional teams (Accounting, Engineering, Operations), and excel at designing processes that drive rigor and efficiency. Bonus qualifications include mid-sized high-growth company experience, NetSuite Administrator certification, manufacturing background, familiarity with other finance systems, experience managing internal and external technical resources, and data visualization tools (Looker, Hex).
