Motive is hiring a Manager of Business Operations & Strategy to lead the Solutions Operations function, which drives performance measurement, systems optimization, and operational excellence across Sales Engineering, Trial Success, Business Value Services, Implementation, Installation, and Proposals teams.
You will own two interconnected workflows: (1) Insights & Analytics—providing validated metrics, reliable datasets, and analysis that enable Solutions leaders and individual contributors to run their teams effectively; and (2) Tooling & Systems—managing the Salesforce ecosystem and connected systems, automating manual workflows, and deploying AI tools to transform how the organization operates.
This is a people leadership role. You will build and develop a team, set priorities and operating rhythm, allocate capacity, and solve complex problems through your team. Success means Solutions leaders make faster, better-informed decisions and teams spend less time on manual work.
Key responsibilities include: monitoring performance trends and running deep-dive analyses; owning and optimizing the Solutions tech stack centered on Salesforce; leading end-to-end change management including enablement and adoption measurement; leading Solutions-specific AI Operations in partnership with Motive's central AI team; hiring, coaching, and developing your team; and leading cross-functional initiatives that influence leaders through sound analysis and clear communication.
You should have experience leading business operations, Sales Operations, RevOps, analytics, or systems operations; strong analytical judgment to turn ambiguous questions into trusted metrics and defensible analyses; depth with dashboards, KPI frameworks, business reviews, and performance reporting; a track record improving Salesforce or comparable systems through integrations, workflows, automation, and data integrity; experience leading change across multiple teams and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders; and practical experience evaluating, deploying, governing, or enabling AI-powered tools and agents.
