US Heart and Vascular, a clinics and outpatient services organization, is seeking a Manager of Accounts Payable to join the corporate finance team in Franklin, TN. This is a full-time, day-shift position reporting to the AP Director.
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process for a multi-site, multi-entity healthcare organization. Key responsibilities include managing invoice and employee expense reimbursement processing, ensuring accurate general ledger coding, reviewing invoices for accuracy and resolving vendor discrepancies, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. You will lead and manage the AP team, assigning work tasks and monitoring performance to ensure timely and accurate payment processing and month-end accruals.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline AP workflows and improve efficiency, stay current with industry best practices, and assist with system transitions and integrations for newly acquired practices. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, and has the ability to lead through influence in a dynamic healthcare setting.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar field (required)
• 3–4 years of relevant career experience in a high-volume AP department with progressively responsible accounts payable experience (required)
• Experience in a medium to large physician practice (strong plus)
• Proven experience managing and leading an AP team (required)
• Experience with system transitions and integrations (preferred)
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in multi-site/multi-entity environments
