Built Technologies is an AI-powered platform transforming real estate finance and construction. The company connects lenders (including top U.S. banks), developers, owners, and contractors, managing 86,000 active projects valued at over $300 billion. Built powers the infrastructure for construction draw management, compliance, and capital flow in one of the largest and most complex sectors in the economy. As Manager of Account Management, you will lead a team of Account Managers responsible for new business revenue in your territory or segment. You own the P&L, pipeline performance, and quota attainment for your team while maintaining significant autonomy in execution. Your core responsibilities include: • Lead and coach a team of Account Managers—set clear performance expectations, run structured coaching sessions, and hold the team accountable to quota, activity, and pipeline targets. • Own territory or segment P&L—develop strategic sales plans identifying high-value prospects, build account strategies, and drive pipeline from initial outreach through close. • Actively engage in key deals—model consultative selling, negotiation, and executive relationship management; demonstrate expected behaviors to your team. • Coach AMs on pipeline management, opportunity qualification, deal strategy, and customer engagement through regular one-on-ones, deal reviews, and field coaching. • Manage forecast accuracy and pipeline health—analyze conversion rates, deal velocity, and stage progression to identify bottlenecks and surface risks early. • Partner with SDRs and Sales Development to ensure strong pipeline handoffs and clear prospecting alignment. • Collaborate with Account Managers and Customer Success to drive smooth post-sale transitions and high-quality client experience. • Contribute to sales enablement and process improvement—share field feedback and recommend enhancements to playbooks, tools, and qualification frameworks. • Champion AI adoption across your team—set expectations for how technology improves research, outreach quality, and deal management. • Travel up to 50% (including at least twice yearly to Nashville for company gatherings). Built's culture emphasizes being bold, helping customers win, moving with urgency and purpose, owning outcomes, and never being satisfied. The role requires leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, quality, and speed of work, and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows through automation. Success at six months means your team performs consistently with healthy pipeline and AMs trending toward targets; forecast accuracy is strong; at least one AM has grown meaningfully under your coaching; you've implemented at least one meaningful coaching intervention or process improvement; and cross-functional partners view your team as reliable and well-coordinated. REQUIREMENTS: • 6–10+ years of enterprise sales experience • 1–3+ years managing an Account Manager team • Consistent track record of exceeding quota both individually and as a team leader • Skilled sales coach with genuine enjoyment of developing talent; track record of identifying AM strengths and gaps, providing actionable feedback, and growing sellers into top performers • Analytical and metrics-driven; understanding of pipeline metrics, forecast accuracy, and sales math; ability to use data to manage performance • Strong communication skills across team, SDRs, solution engineers, and sales leadership; ability to lead with clarity, coach with specificity, and represent team performance credibly • Strategic thinker who balances daily execution with longer-term team development and process improvement • Solid familiarity with construction finance, lending, or financial services—enough to coach AMs on customer conversations and credibly engage in senior-level deals
