Salary: USD 100,000 - 0 / annual
AngelList Venture is building the financial infrastructure for private markets—exchanges, custodians, brokers, and platforms that enable ordinary people to invest in private companies. With $200B+ in assets under administration and 30,000+ startups funded on the platform, AngelList is modernizing what has historically been an exclusive asset class.
The Limited Partner Relations team is the front line for 100,000+ investors in funds administered on AngelList. This is a customer-facing operations role where you'll own day-to-day communications with fund investors, handling inquiries about fund economics, capital calls, wire transfers, distributions, subscription documents, tax reporting (K-1s), and fund reporting. You'll represent AngelList and coordinate across legal, tax, banking, sales, and product teams to resolve investor issues and deliver best-in-class service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as first-line support for LP questions on fund mechanics, banking, distributions, and tax matters
- Develop deep expertise in AngelList's investor platform and funds, especially non-standard cases
- Maintain high response quality and accuracy while handling high volume
- Identify and escalate urgent or sensitive issues with clear documentation and context
- Recognize patterns in recurring investor problems and translate them into product feedback
- Use AI and coding tools to prototype or automate solutions
- Build workflows and automations that help the team scale
- Support relationship management with key customers
This role offers unusual agency and responsibility from day one. The strongest performers on this team notice systemic issues, develop solutions, and drive improvements to workflows and product. The path from specialist to associate is built by people who use this foundation to develop judgment about investors, product, and complex problem-solving.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 0–1+ years of experience, ideally in a customer-facing role with operational responsibilities
- Strong written communication with ability to adapt tone for different audiences (institutional LPs vs. first-time angels)
- Ability to remain clear and calm under pressure: high volume, delayed wires, frustrated investors, busy seasons
- Proficiency with AI tools to increase personal and team effectiveness
- Self-directed problem-solving; ability to work well on a team without waiting for permission
- Curiosity about venture, private markets, and capital mechanics
- Note: Company encourages applications even if you don't meet every requirement; they value complementary strengths and learning-by-doing operators.
