The Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations & Transitions role is a critical position within the Lifecycle team, serving as an extension of clients' HR departments. The specialist manages end-to-end employee exits (offboardings) across multiple international jurisdictions (AMER, EMEA, APAC), ensuring legal compliance and delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include handling voluntary and involuntary terminations, managing resignation and transfer procedures, advising on employment contracts, and coordinating redundancy processes. The role also provides first-level employee relations support, guiding clients through workplace concerns and coordinating appropriate resources. You will interpret and apply employment laws across various jurisdictions, analyze complex HR issues, and provide practical solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. The position requires managing difficult conversations with sensitivity, maintaining strict confidentiality, and handling progressive discipline and workplace investigations. Beyond core responsibilities, the specialist contributes to process improvements and strategic initiatives aligned with Remote's values. The role emphasizes automation, innovation, and operational efficiency, with expectations to identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and champion best practices. This is a fully remote position requiring autonomous work in an asynchronous, international team environment. You'll collaborate across time zones, adapt to evolving systems, and maintain flexibility for global operations. The role demands strong organizational skills, thorough record-keeping, and data integrity awareness.
