Nourish is a Series C-funded ($215M total, $100M Series C in 2026) AI-native digital health platform operating the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. The company matches patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. With millions of completed appointments, year-over-year tripling, and partnerships with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems, Nourish is transforming how Americans access metabolic and preventive healthcare. As a Licensing Senior Associate, you will own the regulatory and licensing strategy for Nourish's expansion across all 50 states and territories. This role sits at the intersection of healthcare law, state regulatory compliance, and business operations. You will manage the complex landscape of state medical board regulations, telehealth licensing requirements, dietitian licensure, and insurance credentialing across multiple jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include: developing and executing state-by-state licensing strategies; managing relationships with state medical boards, health departments, and regulatory bodies; ensuring compliance with evolving telehealth and digital health regulations; coordinating with clinical, operations, and legal teams on licensing requirements; identifying regulatory barriers and developing solutions; staying current on state legislative changes affecting healthcare delivery; and supporting the company's rapid geographic expansion. You will work closely with the General Counsel, clinical leadership, and operations teams. This is a high-impact role requiring deep healthcare regulatory knowledge, strong project management, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of healthcare regulatory or licensing experience, ideally with exposure to multi-state telehealth or digital health compliance.
