Valar Atomics is redefining clean energy by making advanced nuclear power scalable and deployable. The company is building factory-made, high-temperature nuclear systems to power industry, hydrogen production, and next-generation manufacturing. Their first pilot plant in Orangeville, Utah will demonstrate how advanced nuclear systems and fuel fabrication can unlock abundant, clean energy. The Licensing Project Manager is part of the Regulations & Safety organization, which manages regulatory engagement and licensing activities for Valar's technologies and facilities. This role is critical to ensuring regulatory compliance while advancing strategic business objectives. As Licensing Project Manager, you will manage the scope, schedule, budget, and execution workflow of assigned licensing projects. You will work closely with the Project Licensing Lead and coordinate across licensing engineers, program owners, engineering, and operations teams. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and maintain detailed licensing project schedules, accounting for document preparation timelines, review cycles, and regulatory review durations; integrate with overall project schedules - Run the project workflow with single-point assignment of incoming items, automated action tracking with reminders, and active review and approval steps - Maintain comment resolution and commitment trackers, ensuring all feedback from letters, emails, meetings, and calls is consolidated and tracked - Coordinate inputs across engineering, operations, and program owners; clearly communicate requirements and deadlines to each contributor - Keep deliverables off the critical path through disciplined workflow management and proactive issue identification This is an opportunity to work on transformative clean energy infrastructure at a Series A company with strong technical leadership and a clear mission to accelerate the nuclear energy transition.
