Salary: USD 90,000 - 100,000 / annual
Positive Development seeks a Licensed Clinical Lead (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LMHC) to serve as the primary clinical owner for assigned cases in the Richmond, VA area. This is a field-based role focused on growth and area expansion, requiring hands-on clinical supervision, case ownership, and family engagement.
Key responsibilities include providing direct in-home clinical observation, supervision, and coaching to Developmental Paraprofessionals (DPPs) and families. You will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, lead parent/caregiver meetings, develop individualized treatment plans aligned with the Positive Development model, and ensure fidelity to clinical standards. Regular home and community visits are central to the role.
You will own cases end-to-end: monitoring client progress through data and observation, updating goals and interventions as clinically indicated, and leading interdisciplinary case reviews with internal and external providers (OT, SLP, MH, CM). Family engagement includes delivering coaching and education sessions—both virtually and in-person—to strengthen caregiver capacity and generalize skills across environments.
Compliance and documentation are critical. You will complete assessments, treatment plans, supervision logs, and reauthorization reports within required timeframes, maintain clinical records per state and payer standards, and identify and escalate clinical and operational risks.
You will also participate in regional fidelity reviews, peer supervision, and professional development, collaborate with Regional Clinical Leadership to identify best practices and barriers, and support readiness for audits and accreditation reviews.
Required qualifications: Master's degree and active clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LMHC); minimum 3 years of clinical experience in developmental, behavioral, or autism services; demonstrated field-based supervision and interdisciplinary case management experience; strong written and verbal communication with meticulous documentation attention; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment; reliable transportation for frequent home and community visits.
