Bigger Games is seeking a Level Designer to create engaging gameplay experiences for chart-topping mobile games. In this role, you will design, build, test, and continuously improve levels for puzzle and hybrid-casual games, working closely with Product Managers, Game Developers, and Game Artists. Key responsibilities include balancing difficulty and progression to ensure smooth, challenging, and enjoyable player experiences; analyzing player behavior and game metrics to identify improvement opportunities; and combining creativity with data-driven insights to iterate on existing levels and create new gameplay experiences. You will playtest levels regularly, fine-tune them based on player feedback and behavioral data, and contribute new ideas for game mechanics and features. You'll follow the puzzle and hybrid-casual market closely to understand emerging mechanics and player expectations, while also contributing to improvements in level design tools, workflows, and processes. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience in Level Design, Game Design, Product, or a similar role in mobile gaming. You should have a strong understanding of puzzle game mechanics, level progression, and difficulty balancing; an analytical mindset to interpret game data and translate insights into design decisions; and good understanding of player behavior, engagement, and retention. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. Bonus qualifications include familiarity with hybrid casual games, active engagement with gaming industry trends, and comfort working in fast-moving, dynamic environments. The company offers competitive compensation, health insurance with unlimited coverage, a centrally located office in Istanbul, opportunities to attend global conferences, and relocation support.
