As a Legal Engineer, you will be a skilled lawyer from a top-tier law firm who bridges legal expertise and sales strategy. You'll work alongside Account Executives to help current and prospective customers understand how Harvey's AI solutions enhance their day-to-day legal workflows. Similar to how Solutions Architects secure the "technical win," you'll secure the "legal win" by performing in-depth customer discovery and education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engage with English- and Swedish-speaking lawyers at existing and prospective customers to understand workflow challenges, strategic objectives, and firm context, then demonstrate how Harvey's AI solutions address them.
- Establish credibility as an expert in solving specific legal problems (e.g., research, contract drafting and analysis, document analysis, due diligence, corporate governance).
- Lead tailored product demonstrations for various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, validating Harvey's value and showcasing relevant features.
- Partner with marketing to develop content resonating with lawyers across different practice areas and client types.
- Act as "Voice of the Customer," using your legal perspective to help the sales team develop effective strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team.
- Tailor introduction of new solutions to specific customer needs.
- Enhance market perception of Harvey as credible, substantive, and helpful in applying AI to legal work.
- Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.

Requirements:
- JD or equivalent legal qualification.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- At least 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm, preferably with corporate or litigation focus.
- Executive engagement skills and presence; ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levels.
- Outstanding presentation skills to legal and executive audiences (impromptu and formal).
- Strong understanding of legal processes and challenges faced by legal professionals.
- Curiosity about AI's potential to transform the legal industry.
- Plus: sales or customer-facing experience, law firm business development, secondment experience, or direct management of law firm client matters and relationships.
- Must have valid Swedish work rights; Harvey does not currently offer visa sponsorship for this role.
