As a Legal Engineer, you will be a skilled lawyer who bridges Harvey's AI solutions and law firm customers. You'll work alongside Account Executives to drive sales strategy by securing the "legal win" — performing in-depth customer discovery and education on how Harvey's AI enhances specific day-to-day legal workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engage with lawyers at existing and prospective customers to understand workflow challenges and demonstrate Harvey's AI solutions
- Establish credibility as an expert in solving specific legal problems (e.g., legal research, contract drafting and analysis, due diligence, corporate governance)
- Lead tailored product demonstrations for different law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, validating use cases and showcasing relevant features
- Partner with marketing to develop practice-area-specific content that resonates with lawyers
- Act as "Voice of the Customer," synthesizing feedback from a legal perspective for sales and product teams
- Conduct research and competitive analysis
- Travel occasionally to customer offices and company locations
You will help position Harvey as uniquely credible and substantive in applying AI to make lawyers more effective at their work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified to practice law in England & Wales with at least 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm in the U.K.
- Fluent or native Arabic speaker
- Executive engagement skills and presence; ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers at all levels
- Outstanding presentation skills for legal and executive audiences (impromptu and formal)
- Strong understanding of legal processes and challenges faced by legal professionals
- Curiosity about AI's potential to transform the legal industry
- Plus: sales or customer-facing experience, law firm business development, secondment experience, or direct management of law firm client matters and relationships
