Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, seeks a Legal Counsel specializing in Supply Chain and Government Contracts Compliance. You will join the Legal Compliance team supporting Anduril's growing business lines, providing legal guidance on procurement, logistics, supplier management, and compliance with U.S. and foreign government contracts.
In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert on government contracting regulations, procurement integrity, and supply chain compliance across all development and production programs. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating high-complexity master procurement agreements, vendor flow-down matrices, and specialized compliance addenda. You will counsel on supplier vetting, due diligence processes, and onboarding requirements, including review of supplier certifications and compliance documentation.
You will support supply chain teams in navigating counterfeit part prevention, trusted supplier programs, component obsolescence, and distributor qualification. You will ensure compliance with FAR and DFARS contractual flowdowns and certification requirements, establishing frameworks, SOPs, and automated intake controls. You will advise engineering, quality, and sourcing teams on hardware provenance, component authenticity protocols, and traceability controls across electronic and mechanical supply tiers.
Additional responsibilities include engaging with trade compliance teams on customs, export controls, sanctions, and trade laws; maintaining supply chain risk management (SCRM) posture; and monitoring emerging defense procurement policy and legislative updates. You will translate policy changes into actionable operational guidelines and continuously improve Anduril's representations and certifications to government and non-government entities.
Required qualifications: JD from accredited law school, active U.S. bar license, minimum 5 years legal experience in regulatory compliance, supply chain, trade, or commercial law, and 2+ years FAR/DFARS supply chain compliance experience. Strong understanding of legal aspects of supply chain management, meticulous attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work under tight deadlines, and capacity to provide clear risk analyses to executive leadership.
