Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, seeks a Legal Counsel to join its Legal Compliance Team in Costa Mesa, CA. This role supports the company's growing business lines by providing specialized legal guidance on supply chain, procurement, and government contracts compliance.
You will serve as a subject matter expert on government contracting regulations, procurement integrity, and supply chain compliance across all development and production programs. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating high-complexity master procurement agreements, vendor flow-down matrices, and specialized compliance addenda. You will counsel on supplier vetting, due diligence processes, and onboarding requirements, including review of supplier certifications and compliance documentation.
The role requires ensuring compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) requirements, establishing frameworks and SOPs to enforce mandatory contractual flow-downs, and advising engineering, quality, and sourcing teams on hardware provenance and component authenticity protocols. You will support supply chain teams in navigating counterfeit part prevention, trusted supplier programs, and component obsolescence management.
Additional responsibilities include engaging with trade compliance teams on customs, export controls, and sanctions compliance; maintaining supply chain risk management (SCRM) posture; monitoring emerging defense procurement policy and legislative updates; and translating policy changes into actionable operational guidelines. You will partner closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and other internal teams to build, procure, and scale mission-critical systems in alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.
