Hims & Hers, a leading telehealth and health-wellness platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Learning Pharmacist to develop and deliver clinical training programs for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at their New Albany, Ohio facility. This role bridges clinical pharmacy expertise with instructional design and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include designing and delivering competency-based training programs, leading pharmacist onboarding with structured 30/60/90-day progress reviews, and conducting hands-on skill verification. You will maintain floor presence to identify training gaps, monitor SOP adherence, and ensure regulatory compliance through spot checks and audit-ready documentation. You'll partner with Quality Assurance and Compliance teams to review corrective action requests (CAPAs), identify training-related root causes, and deliver targeted remediation.
You will own the Pharmacy Technician Training Program compliance, contribute to SOP and competency assessment development, and support regulatory inspections and audits by preparing training documentation. Additional duties include monitoring pharmacist licensure and continuing education requirements, documenting all training activities per Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and collaborating with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional partners to identify and address training needs.
Required qualifications: PharmD or BPharm from an accredited institution, active pharmacist license in good standing, and 3+ years of practicing pharmacy experience (preferably in operations, mail-order, telehealth, or compounding). You must have training, teaching, precepting, or clinical education experience; strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations (FDA, USP standards); and experience developing training programs, SOPs, and competency assessments. Demonstrated ability to collaborate on CAPA and deviation management, strong documentation skills, excellent facilitation and communication abilities, and exceptional attention to detail are essential. Experience with LMS platforms, flexibility for day/night shifts and inter-site travel, and deep knowledge of USP <797>, <795>, <800> standards and cGMP regulations are required.
