Prosper Marketplace, a leading fintech company and the first peer-to-peer lending platform in the US, is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join its Operations team in Phoenix, AZ.
In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive learning solutions for new hire and tenured agents. You'll create accurate, user-friendly content for the internal knowledge base, develop training materials and job aids for new processes, system deployments, product updates, and ongoing skill development. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, leaders, quality teams, and peers to gather accurate information and validate content. A key responsibility is translating complex technical information, legal jargon, and operational processes into clear, concise language that resonates with diverse audiences.
You'll build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and serve as an internal customer advocate. Your work will include developing measurable learning objectives and assessment strategies to evaluate training program effectiveness, utilizing a variety of training methods and techniques to deliver world-class learning experiences. You'll implement feedback from agents, quality, and leadership to continuously improve content effectiveness and usability. Administrative duties include tracking training attendance, assessment scores, survey feedback, and preparing reports.
You'll stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development relevant to operational effectiveness, and ensure all content adheres to established brand guidelines, tone of voice, and compliance requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct content for diverse audiences
- Understanding of learning theories and the ADDIE model
- Capable of translating complex information into engaging content
- Confident collaborating with employees at all levels and receptive to stakeholder feedback
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Passion for learning and dedication to supporting others' professional growth
- Proficient in Google Workspace
PREFERRED:
- 2+ years of experience in call center operations/sales, loan processing, or general loan operations
- Consumer Financial Services industry experience
- BA/BS degree in Learning & Development, teaching, or relevant field
