Helsing is a defence AI company on a mission to protect democracies through technological leadership. This role reports to the People Operations Learning Lead and owns the day-to-day design and delivery of onboarding, leadership, and learning programmes as the company scales rapidly. You will drive execution and continuous iteration of learning initiatives: hosting and facilitating in-person onboarding cohorts in Munich, maintaining learning resources, and ensuring programmes run smoothly across the business. You will be one of the first people new joiners meet during their first days, and a key part of the team ensuring the systems behind that experience—content, scheduling, resources, feedback—operate seamlessly. Key responsibilities include: - Deliver Helsing's in-person onboarding programme in Munich, bringing mission, culture, and operating model to life for every new cohort; travel to other European hubs as needed - Coordinate programme logistics, managing cohort scheduling and partnering with hiring managers, Security, IT, and People Operations to ensure seamless execution - Support new joiners and managers as the go-to point of contact throughout onboarding and probation, answering questions and proactively unblocking issues - Maintain and expand the knowledge base, keeping onboarding and learning resources in Confluence structured, accurate, and easy to navigate - Build learning materials, designing and refining leadership and learning content in partnership with internal subject matter experts - Align cross-functionally with People Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to keep the onboarding calendar, capacity, and content matched to hiring volume - Measure and iterate, collecting and analysing onboarding and engagement data, including pulse surveys, to identify bottlenecks and improve delivery - Support self-serve learning, building and supporting adoption of self-serve resources and tracking engagement and feedback on content quality Requirements: - Ability to facilitate and present onboarding sessions with clarity, bringing Helsing's mission, culture, and operating model to life for new joiners - Experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder programmes and keeping them on track, from cohort logistics to cross-functional alignment - Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative feedback, including survey data, to identify trends and shape continuous improvement - Experience building, structuring, and maintaining internal knowledge bases and documentation such as Confluence or Notion - Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships across technical and non-technical teams - Fluent in German and English; based in or willing to relocate to Munich for regular in-person facilitation Nice to have: - Support or design of leadership or first-time manager enablement initiatives - Familiarity with modern HRIS platforms (e.g. HiBob) and engagement survey tooling - Experience working in a fast-scaling tech environment or a regulated/defence setting with strict compliance and security requirements - Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning authoring tools - Background in organisational psychology, adult learning, or leadership development
