Persona is a configurable identity verification platform serving leading companies like Reddit and OpenAI. As Lead Web Designer, you'll join the Brand Studio to define and build Persona's marketing website and consumer-facing digital experiences during a critical rebrand moment. You'll lead design exploration and set the standard for thoughtful, exceptionally crafted work. Your primary focus is the marketing website redesign—from strategic alignment and scoping through design, implementation, and ongoing stewardship. You'll partner closely with the web and engineering teams to enable rapid iteration, champion new design and build processes using the latest prototyping and AI tools, and help shape Persona's visual system at a foundational moment. Key responsibilities include designing category-defining digital experiences across the marketing website and interactive touchpoints (event activations, micro-sites, digital collateral); leading the full website redesign lifecycle; partnering with web teams on day-to-day site needs; building a culture of feedback and collaboration among designers, cross-functional partners, and executives; and developing a deep understanding of Persona's brand direction. You'll bring 10+ years of experience in agency or in-house environments with a clear focus on website design and digital experiences. You have strong UX instincts, a passion for building cohesive visual systems, and a "design and build" mindset paired with curiosity about emerging tools. You're fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, comfortable with code-based animation, and excited about AI tools like Cursor and Claude. You self-direct across multiple workstreams, communicate effectively with cross-functional and executive stakeholders, and can produce production-ready files. A standout interactive portfolio demonstrating narrative, craft, and technology is essential.
