Braze is seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager to own and operate the Proof of Concept (POC) program for its Solutions organization. This is an individual contributor role focused on program design and operations—you will not manage people but will set standards, cadence, and tooling for POC delivery across the Solutions Consulting team.
You will be responsible for designing the end-to-end POC methodology, including intake criteria, standard timelines, and success metrics that Solutions Consultants use to scope and run individual POCs. You'll build and maintain a resourcing and capacity-planning model that matches POC demand to available technical talent across regions, flagging gaps to leadership. You'll run the recurring intake, status, and review cadence across all active POCs, providing Sales and Solutions Consulting leadership with visibility into progress and risk without personally running each engagement.
Key responsibilities include designing a risk and escalation framework for scope creep, resourcing gaps, and technical blockers; building repeatable POC playbooks, templates, and tooling for the technical team; owning POC program metrics (volume, cycle time, win rate, utilization); and reporting trends and recommendations to the AVP of Global Technical Consulting. You'll partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to relay recurring POC blockers and feature gaps, and with Sales/Solutions Consulting on demand forecasting. You'll use program data to continuously identify bottlenecks and iterate on process, staffing, and tooling to improve program-wide win rates and cycle time.
Braze is a leading customer engagement platform that empowers brands to deliver personalized experiences at scale. The company is headquartered in New York with offices globally, including San Francisco.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in technical program management, solutions consulting operations, or a related role within B2B SaaS
- Proven experience designing, scaling, or operating a technical program (e.g., POCs, pilots, or technical evaluations) across many simultaneous engagements—not running individual engagements yourself
- Strong program management fundamentals: scoping, milestone tracking, resource planning, and risk management
- Comfortable working with technical concepts (APIs, SDKs, data integrations) well enough to scope and sequence technical work, though not expected to build the solution yourself
- Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to align Sales, Solutions Consulting, Engineering, and customer stakeholders around a shared plan
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience reporting program health to leadership
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent program/project management certification is a plus
