Stuut is transforming accounts receivable for B2B companies by automating collections processes historically handled manually. The platform serves finance teams across industrials, chemicals, and manufacturing sectors, from Fortune 10 brands to scaling midmarket companies. You'll join as Lead Software Engineer in Test, owning the strategy, architecture, and execution of automated testing across the platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining deep test automation expertise with influence over engineering quality culture.
Key responsibilities include: defining long-term vision for automated testing frameworks and tooling; designing and implementing robust automation across integration, UI, and end-to-end layers; leading test coverage planning with product squads; stabilizing CI/CD pipelines and reducing flaky tests; architecting scalable test environments; optimizing developer velocity through faster CI/CD cycles; partnering with engineering teams on test strategy for new features; leading root cause analysis of failures; promoting testing best practices across teams; and mentoring engineers in automation and quality ownership.
You'll work with modern stacks including FastAPI, Vue.js, event-driven systems like Inngest, Turborepo, Docker, Vercel, and AWS EKS. The role requires fluency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, hands-on experience with tools like Playwright, Cypress, and pytest, and deep understanding of CI/CD optimization, cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, RDS PostgreSQL), and distributed systems testing.
This combines technical depth in test automation architecture with leadership influence in a fast-moving B2B SaaS environment focused on reliability and rapid iteration.
