OpenLoop is a telehealth platform enabling companies to deliver virtual care across specialties in all 50 states. The Lead Program Manager for Medical Weight Loss owns end-to-end strategy and roadmap for one of OpenLoop's most strategically important and operationally complex programs. You are the single accountable owner of whether Medical Weight Loss delivers against company goals. You will define the multi-quarter roadmap, set program-level metrics (clinical quality, patient outcomes, client retention, unit economics, growth velocity), and defend the strategy to the executive team. Your responsibilities include translating company OKRs into program targets, making build/buy/partner decisions with data-driven recommendations, and continuously verifying that execution matches the strategic plan. You'll lead cross-functionally across Clinical, Product, Engineering, Pharmacy, RCM, Implementation, Marketing, and Client Success without direct authority, aligning these teams behind a unified program direction. You guide and prioritize work of Program Managers supporting the program, serve as the executive escalation point for major client questions, and own the program narrative for senior leadership. You synthesize client feedback, regulatory signals, and competitive intelligence into roadmap decisions while maintaining unimpeachable clinical integrity and compliance standards. The Medical Weight Loss category is moving fast—clinical guidelines, formulary dynamics, regulatory posture, and client expectations shift quarterly. You must build structure in a hypergrowth environment while ensuring documentation, protocols, and clinical/operational rigor remain intact. This role is scoped to a single program today; as OpenLoop's portfolio matures, Lead Program Managers may expand to own multiple programs or a full vertical. Required: 7–10+ years owning programs, products, or operating units in healthcare or digital health; at least 3 years setting strategy and owning roadmaps end-to-end. Direct experience with medical weight loss or adjacent care models, with ability to build fluency in GLP-1 therapies, clinical eligibility, formulary dynamics, and regulatory landscape. You have a track record of strategy ownership (not just execution), demonstrated cross-functional leadership, strong commercial and analytical instincts, and exceptional written communication. You've operated at hypergrowth velocity without compromising rigor, and you treat compliance, documentation, escalation pathways, and audit-readiness as core program deliverables.
