You will lead product development for enterprise-scale user access, permissions, and security controls, focusing on customers with 10,000+ users and globally distributed operations. This role shapes how large enterprises manage identity, access, and compliance across Verkada's platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop scalable user and group management solutions for complex enterprise organizational structures
- Drive implementation of advanced Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities including multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and single sign-on (SSO) integrations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design user permission hierarchies and access workflows optimized for large-scale, distributed organizations
- Build privacy and compliance controls aligned with global regulatory standards (GDPR, CCPA) for enterprise deployments
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams to deliver solutions that simplify access management and meet security expectations
- Gather customer feedback and analyze usage data to refine scalability, usability, and feature adoption
- Define success metrics, track outcomes, and communicate progress to stakeholders
The role requires 5 days per week on-site at the San Mateo office.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with focus on enterprise customer acquisition, expansion, and retention
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degrees a plus)
- Strong technical expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems for enterprise organizations
- Experience with authentication protocols and standards: OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, SCIM, and Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Familiarity with advanced security features including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and digital authentication workflows
- Demonstrated ability to design solutions for audit logs and compliance workflows
- Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive data-based decisions
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering customer-centric solutions
- Proven success building integrations with enterprise tools like Okta, Azure Entra, Google Workspace (strong plus)
