MaintainX, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, is a mobile-first work execution platform serving 13,000+ customers including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL, and Volvo. The platform manages 13.9 million assets and 79.5 million completed work orders for industrial and frontline teams. You will own the Templating Service end-to-end, a foundational platform layer enabling large, multi-site enterprises to define procedures, assets, work orders, and parts once and cascade them across all sites with versioning, update policies, and controlled publishing. As the service matures, you'll also lead the redesign of the location and asset hierarchy underneath it. Key responsibilities: - Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for templates across assets, procedures, work orders, and parts, advancing the current design-partner alpha to GA adoption across multi-site enterprise accounts - Consolidate three overlapping configuration systems into one unified registry, with a clear migration path and deprecation sequence that ensures no customer gets stranded - Resolve complex semantics in this space—update policies, publish and conflict flows, versioning, promoting existing records into templates—establishing settled rules for downstream teams - Run the design-partner program directly: conduct recurring customer sessions, drive prototype-driven discovery, and translate findings into roadmap priorities - Take the hierarchy redesign from specification to validated model, including typed locations, N-level depth, and functional positions that maintain PM schedules through asset swaps, all while remaining additive and non-breaking for existing customers on the current two-level structure You'll be part of the Enterprise Knowledge pillar, responsible for how large, multi-site customers define and govern operational data. The role sits within Autodesk's broader strategy to converge design, make, and operate into one continuous lifecycle. REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years in product management, including 5+ years of platform or core-product work at an enterprise SaaS company (entity models, permissioning, configuration frameworks—foundational infrastructure, not surface features) - Deep systems thinking: ability to reason about cascade/override policies, hierarchy schemas, cardinality, and migration states; can argue trade-offs with staff engineers as a peer - Demonstrated discovery motion: you run design-partner sessions yourself and let evidence override opinion - Track record sequencing multi-year foundational work while shipping customer-visible value every quarter NICE TO HAVE: - CMMS, EAM, or industrial operations background - Experience migrating customers off SAP PM or Maximo-class systems
