Minted is a two-sided marketplace connecting independent artists with consumers globally. This role leads product strategy for Minted's discovery experience—search, browse, category, and product detail surfaces—in partnership with engineering and design.
You will set the strategic direction for discovery by synthesizing business strategy, competitive analysis, behavioral data, test results, and customer insights. You'll prioritize growth levers and the customer problems that move them, then evaluate solution approaches. You'll own a two-year planning horizon alongside near-term roadmaps, and maintain a continuously updated list of prioritized customer problems informed by behavioral data, user research, support signals, session replay, dogfooding, and competitive scans.
A major focus is turning Minted's new product data foundation into customer value: attribute-driven search and browse, dynamic product detail and category pages, crawlable filtered navigation, and groundwork for conversational shopping and personalized discovery.
You'll develop and lead initiative strategies spanning multiple teams and functions, resolving dependencies and stakeholder disagreements. You shape solutions with engineering and design by holding the business problem and value case while they own experience and feasibility. You'll argue for defensibility alongside value—asking whether bets are hard to copy and improve margin.
You'll set a new standard for documentation and briefs, explicitly stating assumptions, growth levers, customer problems, success criteria, and instrumentation plans. You'll specify instrumentation for everything shipped, including events powering key metrics and KPIs. You'll run a high-velocity test program, designing lean experiments with intent to launch and productionize winners, and evangelize proper experiment design.
You'll manage upward with clear strategic intent and recommendations attached to every problem raised. You'll be the trusted, accountable partner to teammates and stakeholders—running kickoffs and read-outs, prioritizing backlogs, handling scope changes, preparing teams for launch, and running user acceptance testing. You'll report results against objectives and KPIs, share insights across teams, and reshape your roadmap accordingly.
You'll mentor and develop other product managers on their craft and participate in hiring, raising standards for problem framing, briefs, instrumentation, and experiment analysis.
