Motive is a SaaS platform that empowers operations teams at Fortune 500 enterprises and mid-market companies to manage fleet, safety, and operations in a unified system. As a Strategic Implementation Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for Motive's largest and most strategic customers during their implementation phase. You will define and execute project strategies, manage complex hardware and software rollouts, and guide customers on best practices for adopting the Motive platform. This is a high-touch, customer-facing role requiring executive-level communication and change management expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning end-to-end implementation for assigned accounts, ensuring successful software training and adoption
- Leading cross-functional project teams and managing timelines, deliverables, and scope
- Identifying and mitigating project risks; monitoring customer progress against KPIs
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- Hosting training sessions (virtual and in-person) and traveling to customer sites (~40% of time)
- Developing and executing change management programs to drive organizational adoption
You will need 3+ years of project management experience in B2B environments, ideally in telematics, logistics, or fleet management. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential. PMP certification and a BA/BS degree are preferred. This role is ideal for a seasoned consultant who thrives in complex, high-stakes customer environments and can influence at all organizational levels.
