Scopely's in-house creative agency, Flamed, is seeking a Lead Game Capture Artist to join the Marketing Creative Services team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis (3 days per week). You will primarily work on MONOPOLY GO!, one of the top mobile games globally, with potential support for other titles in Scopely's extensive portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for in-game scene setup using Unity game builds to construct and animate dynamic sequences. You'll stage, shoot, and capture high-end gameplay footage and cinematic sequences optimized for user acquisition ads, social media, and promotional trailers. Your composition and still-capture work will produce high-resolution gameplay stills and 3D model shots for key art and promotional materials. You will drive cinematography through dynamic camera work, lighting, action pacing, and visual effects to create impactful, high-energy scenes. Post-processing responsibilities include initial footage editing, asset retouching, and color adjustments to elevate deliverable quality. You'll maintain rigorous attention to detail while actively offering and integrating feedback in a constructive team environment. Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in gameplay capture, layout, pre-visualization, or 3D environment design within gaming, marketing, or film. You must have an excellent video reel demonstrating expert-level cinematography, gameplay capture, and scene composition. Deep Unity proficiency is essential—hands-on experience building complex scenes, staging animations, and managing camera setups. You must also have hands-on Unreal Engine experience for producing cinematic-quality renders. Additional requirements: strong sense of composition, color, and animation timing; understanding of storytelling and cinematic language with camera terminology; experience with Premiere and After Effects; proven ability to work iteratively across multidisciplinary teams; excellent problem-solving under pressure; and excellent English communication skills. Bonus skills include technical art (scripting, shader creation, rigging, tool development), understanding of the mobile games market and pop culture trends, and proactive interest in AI-assisted design tools.
