Tabby is seeking a Lead, Financial Reporting to support finance operations for its Saudi Arabia entity. This role owns monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles for KSA, ensuring accuracy, timeliness (D+3 target), and completeness. You will prepare IFRS financial statements with local SOCPA adjustments, supporting schedules, and reconciliations, applying IFRS standards (especially IFRS 9, 15, 16) correctly while maintaining well-documented accounting positions.
Key responsibilities include preparing and supporting ZATCA filings (CIT, Zakat, VAT, WHT, CTDF) and SAMA regulatory/prudential returns with full reconciliation to financial statements. You will perform balance-sheet reconciliations, maintain general ledger integrity, and support provisioning and ECL calculations under IFRS 9 for customer and merchant receivables. The role involves supporting external audits by preparing audit-ready financials with complete documentation and serving as a key contact for auditors on reporting matters.
You will maintain and strengthen internal controls, reconciliations, and segregation of duties across reporting processes, support treasury and settlement reporting with related reconciliations (bank accounts, merchant settlements), and support intercompany and transfer-pricing reporting in coordination with Group Tax. The position includes driving process improvements, supporting ERP (Oracle NetSuite) reporting, data integrity, and automation efforts.
As a senior contributor, you will mentor and review the work of junior finance team members and partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Operations to support finance readiness for new product launches including wallet, BNPL, cards, remittance, and loyalty/cashback offerings.
Required qualifications: 4–6 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting, or external audit, preferably in fintech, banking, or Big 4 environments. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 9, 15, 16) and SOCPA/local GAAP, with working knowledge of Saudi tax regulations. Hands-on experience preparing IFRS financial statements with local adjustments and running month-end close. Experience supporting statutory audits and regulatory submissions to ZATCA and SAMA. Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA) preferred. Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (Oracle NetSuite a plus). Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal) required.
