You will lead a team of Data Validation Specialists responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data during new client onboarding. This is a hands-on management role combining team leadership with individual contributor responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Validation Specialists, supporting career development and delivering regular feedback
- Manage work allocation, prioritization, and execution to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery
- Review and audit data validation projects to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
- Drive process improvements to increase data accuracy, reduce turnaround time, and enhance scalability
- Develop and maintain documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Solutions, Product, and Engineering teams
- Foster a collaborative team culture focused on learning and client success
- Maintain a personal portfolio of data validation projects, performing hands-on review and reconciliation alongside leadership duties
This is primarily a non-client-facing role requiring focus, consistency, and comfort with structured, detail-oriented work. You'll work behind the scenes ensuring data quality across global operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in Business, Finance, Math, Economics, or a data-oriented field
- 3+ years of experience in data validation, financial operations, data quality assurance, or related field
- 1+ year of people leadership or team coordination experience (preferred)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with proven track record in high-volume data environments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to guide and influence across teams
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel), internal tools, and web-based platforms
- Familiarity with financial data is a plus but not required
- Process-oriented with continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail
