Relativity Space is building rockets and advanced manufacturing systems to serve commercial and exploration missions. The company is developing the Terran R vehicle to deliver payloads to orbit and pioneering 3D printing technology for aerospace applications.
You will join the Finance team as Lead, Corporate Finance, reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Finance. This is a hands-on role partnering with G&A functional leaders (HR, IT, Legal, Facilities) to manage operating expense budgets and evaluate departmental spend efficiency. You will own consolidated, company-wide headcount planning by maintaining the headcount model, tracking hiring against plan, and providing financial views for strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as primary finance partner for G&A functional leaders, helping them manage OpEx budgets and assess return on departmental spend
- Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) cycle for assigned cost centers, running quarterly reforecasts in Planful
- Build scenario and what-if models supporting decisions on headcount, spend, and strategic initiatives
- Partner with Product and Sales to develop pricing models, assess customer unit economics, and align pricing with profitability targets
- Drive Monthly Business Review (MBR) cadence, preparing variance explanations and surfacing operational risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics for performance measurement and accountability
- Partner with Finance Systems team to improve and automate planning and reporting, building self-service dashboards
